Pheasant's Tail Grass
Anemanthele lessoniana Sirocco. A native of New Zealand.
Some common names include New Zealand Wind Grass, Gossamer Grass, or Pheasant's
Tail Grass. A grass that forms a clump reaching 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
The leaves are a wonderful array of colors, such as brown, green, orange,
copper, yellow, pink, and green.
A drought-tolerant plant that is suitable for xeriscaping.
It prefers full sun to partial shade. It grows in most soils well-drained. Zones 8-11
